There is good news for job hunters, as the Fifth Street Gaming is going on a hiring spree.
According to their Chief Executive, there are chances that the company will be hiring over 800 individuals for the Downtown Grand Hotel. The firm is expecting the hiring process to continue for 4-month period. The job applications along with the resume of the aspiring candidates are to be submitted at the career page of company’s website
CIM Group owns the Downtown Grand, previously known as the Lady Luck. They have given the task of overseeing the USD 100 million renovation of the resort to Fifth Street Gaming. The firm will also be looking into the game development part and its operations.
Downtown Grand Hotel, scheduled to open in the later part of the year, is a 650-room resort, located in Downtown Las Vegas.
Fifth Street Gaming’s CEO, Seth Schorr, has told the gaming regulators that the resort is expecting to receive the certificate for occupancy in the month of September.
While speaking to the press, Schorr was quite excited. He said, “We are anticipating a huge response for the openings, which we will have at our casino. It will not be only because of the high unemployment rate in the city, but also that the resort is going to offer the employees with an excellent offer.”
